We work hard to get to know our client’s and how they live in their homes. Each project and client is unique, which is why we pride ourselves on first making sure your space is functional, and then layering in all of the finishes, textures and accessories to make your home uniquely yours. We draw on inspiration from personal travels and mementos, as well as taking survey of your existing pieces to make sure your home feels lived in and collected.

ABOUT MELISSA
Melissa Holt is the celebrated visionary and acclaimed interior designer behind her boutique firm, Holt Design House. A respected authority on Casual California Living, Melissa’s signature look has been featured by New York Times, The Haven List and Studio McGee. From the South Bay of Los Gatos & Saratoga up the Peninsula to Menlo Park & Palo Alto, Melissa closely partners with a select number of families a year to design, build, and renovate turnkey residences. Noted and valued for integrating trend-forward technology into projects, Melissa is the trusted resource to top builders and architects. Over the years, her busy, professional clients share that her signature work has inspired, grounded and made luxury living feel easy.
Melissa is the lead point of contact for every question ranging from floorplan concepts to sourcing a specific fabric for custom pieces. Her clients deeply appreciate not only her stunning visionary eye but her keen understanding of the design meets construction industry. As a result, her high-level expertise saves her busy, professional clients time, energy and money.
On a personal level, similar to her clients, Melissa is a busy professional mom of three. On weekends you can find her sipping a dirtymartini around town in the evenings and cheering on the sidelines at dance recitals and baseball games during the day.
